How to read this website in English
Our website is currently available only in Czech. You can easily translate it into English using the free translation feature built into your web browser. Nothing needs to be installed.
Tip: Once translation is turned on, it normally stays active when you click through to other pages of the website.
Google Chrome
- Open https://www.ckanada.cz/.
- Chrome usually shows a "Translate this page?" popup near the address bar. Click English or Translate.
- If the popup does not appear, use one of these:
- Click the Translate icon at the right end of the address bar, then choose English.
- Right-click anywhere on the page and select "Translate to English".
- Click the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner, then Translate….
- To translate all pages automatically: click the Translate icon, then the three dots (⋮) and tick "Always translate Czech".
Phone / tablet (Android, iPhone, iPad)
- Open the website in Chrome.
- Tap the three dots (⋮) menu, then Translate….
- Choose English.
Microsoft Edge
- Open https://www.ckanada.cz/.
- Edge usually shows a "Translate page?" popup. Make sure Translate to: English is selected and click Translate.
- If it does not appear, click the Translate icon at the right end of the address bar, or right-click the page and choose "Translate".
- To translate all pages automatically: in the popup tick "Always translate pages from Czech" before clicking Translate.
Mozilla Firefox
Firefox has a built-in, private translator (it works on your device) in version 118 and newer.
- Open https://www.ckanada.cz/.
- Click the Translate icon in the address bar, or click Translate in the banner that may appear.
- Make sure the languages are set to Czech → English and click Translate. The first time, Firefox downloads the language data, which takes a few seconds.
- To translate all pages automatically: click the Translate icon, open Translation settings and choose "Always translate Czech".
Can't see the icon? Update Firefox. Translation is not available in very old versions.
Keeping the translation on when you visit other pages
- Use the "Always translate Czech" option described above. Every page of ckanada.cz will then be translated automatically.
- If you open a link in a new tab or window and it appears in Czech, simply click the translate icon again.
